Inspiring Places: The Wandering Fools of Grand Bend
While driving down to get our latest issue, we took a wrong turn and a long detour, arriving in Grand Bend. This popular park offers an old winding river that digs deep into Southern Ontario sediments. When it floods - look out - we found whole corn plants hanging from a tree at the top of a small hill. The photos you see show our editor getting bent, the river's escarpment on the far shore, and some river-swept grass on the flood plain.
How to get there? Get lost, and don't ask for directions!
