Introducing: Jam Makers

Jaywalker's new freeware for musicians!

Jaywalker is quite excited to introduce our newest feature: Jam Makers. Jam Makers dishes up regular servings of delicious hand-made riffs for local musicians to savor.

Inspired by countless note-cookers over the years, Jam Makers intends to help preserve the art of hand-written musical notation while spreading around flavorful pieces for players to enjoy. We hope this "musical shareware"  will  help  nourish   Kingston's happening music scene - and with your submissions, we think it'll be a smash hit!

Our first piece is by local music teacher and aspiring cartoonist James Wannamaker. It's titled "Cheque Please", and he played it at the very end of his jazz performances, when, of course, it was time to get paid. We'd like to give a toast to James for stirring things up with this very first edition of Jam Makers.
